Visit of the Villa Savoye called “Les Heures Claires”, built by Le Corbusier between 1928 and 1931. Internationally famous master-piece, this villa is the perfect example of the 5 points of a new architecture.

Château from the Renaissance of two floors and turrets, terraces and pinnacles that used to be Alexandre DUMAS’ residence.
The Château’s carved façades show famous writers’ portraits, dear to the Musketeers author.
This large residence contains a beautiful Moorish living-room, made by Tunisian craftsmen.
5PM: End of the visit.

3PM: Visit of the Château of Maisons
On the Seine side and very close to the forest of Saint Germain-en-Laye, the Château of Maisons was built by Mansart from 1634 on for René de Longueil, later superintendent of the finances for Louis the 14th.
Its architecture is one of the best examples of the French classic Art.
Symmetry, majesty, width, volumes’ harmony and their decorations feature Maisons.
During the tour, you will see:
-The Grand Escalier and its sculpted decoration
-The King’s Apartment and his famous office decorated with looking-glasses.
-The wonderful decoration of the dining-room of the Earl of Artois.
5PM: end of the tour.

Built in 1646, the Château of Maisons is the work of the famous architect Mansart.
Perfect illustration of the French classic Architecture with its decoration and the Grand Escalier, it contains the King’s apartment, the 17th century’s office decorated with looking-glasses, the dining-room of the Earl of Artois, built by Bélanger, Marshal Lannes’s bedroom and Jacques Laffitte’s one.
